I bought this keyboard to replace an older one, with 3/4 size keys. Truely My major reason was simply that I wanted one with full-sized keys, but I got far not just that. Its Grand Piano voice is full, rich and authentic in its sound. The majority of the other voices are also remarkably realistic-sounding. It’s fun to have a wide range of voices, to lessen the monotony which could result from the repetition that practice requires. It came with an instructional DVD that was very useful-So spend some time to look at it.

This keyboard plays a lot of songs and there certainly are a couple ways to teach them to yourself. You can actually listen to how it’s supposed to sound and you’ll be able to place it in “waiting mode”; the keyboard then allows you to try and play in the tune, only creating a sound once you strike the proper key. You may tell it you only require to use your right hand or your left hand or tell it you would like to try using both hands at the same time…very handy function.

You can also make the keys appear to be so many different kinds of instruments, flutes, violins, bass’, ect. Plus it has funny noises that can be played that children would really like I’m sure.

As far as I see the YAMAHA 61 KEY PORTABLE KEYBOARD is great. Great sound quality. But Slow shipping with DSL. The matching black bench is excellent… and shipped amazingly fast with FedEx Home delivery
